Indeed, this clamping method can save you a lot of time and hassle.
And in some case, the lack of vacuum table or adapted jig makes it the only viable solution.
Speed, depth and feeds needs to be adjusted down from a typical pass to reduce mechanical stress.
Heat and liquid cooling can also affect the bond.
Post machining, you can use a very fine spatula and a wire between the workpiece and table after having soaked the base in debonder. Leaving a small gap between tapes helps the debonder to penetrate deeper under the piece.
